# CopyStorm/Director Job Editor

The CopyStorm/Director Job Editor supports the creation and editing of jobs and tasks. Its capabilities are a subset of the primary stand-along [Job Editor](https://learn.capstorm.com/copystorm-director/reference/copystorm-director-gui/job-editor) — for more information see the [Job Editor](https://learn.capstorm.com/copystorm-director/reference/copystorm-director-gui/job-editor) documentation.

The web-based Job Editor differs from the stand-alone Job Editor in the following ways:

* It cannot be used to start or stop tasks.
* It cannot launch the CopyStorm or CopyStorm/Medic GUI.
