Restore Wizard (Preview)

The Restore Wizard guides you through restoring Salesforce data from a CopyStorm backup stored in your CS:Container database back into a target Salesforce org. It walks you step-by-step through selecting records to restore, configuring how the restore should behave, scanning for candidate records, uploading records, and then reviewing detailed results and a final summary.

Use this workflow to recover data, correct unintended data changes, or selectively restore a subset of records to production or sandbox.

Select the object and records that will be uploaded to Salesforce.

Configure data upload parameters, including:

  • Insert/update behavior.
  • Related record depth.
  • Automation handling.

Step 3: Scan Records

Query the database for records matching the restore criteria.

Step 4: Upload Data

Insert or update candidates into the target Salesforce.

Step 5: View Results

View record upload results.

Step 6: Summary

View an overview of record restore activity.
