# CopyStorm/Search

CopyStorm/Search is designed to exhaustively search for and optionally replace data found in Salesforce. The search is more thorough and faster than a native Salesforce search, and many times faster. CopyStorm/Search can search all data in the CopyStorm backup database, including:

* Salesforce tables.
* Salesforce meta data.
* Salesforce field history, including CopyStorm’s exhaustive field history tracking.

Once a search has been performed, CopyStorm/Search can update any or all matching records in both Salesforce and the CopyStorm backup.
