The Salesforce Credentials page allows fast and easy registration of Username/Password Salesforce Credential(s) associated with Org(s) to be backed up or to upload records from Snowflake. Salesforce credentials are stored securely in the Snowflake Secrets Library.
To add new Salesforce credentials, click the Add Credentials button in the top right corner of the page. This will open a small panel that allows input for a Salesforce user’s instance type (Sandbox or Production), username, password, and optional security token. It is recommended to use the Test Connection button to validate the credentials against Salesforce before saving the credentials.
To edit any previously saved credentials, click the icon in-row for the credentials to update. All information must be re-input for updating the credential information.
