# Salesforce Credentials

The Salesforce Credentials page allows fast and easy registration of Username/Password Salesforce Credential(s) associated with Org(s) to be backed up or to upload records from Snowflake. Salesforce credentials are stored securely in the Snowflake Secrets Library.

## Adding New Credentials

To add new Salesforce credentials, click the *Add Credentials* button in the top right corner of the page. This will open a small panel that allows input for a Salesforce user’s instance type (Sandbox or Production), username, password, and optional security token. It is recommended to use the *Test Connection* button to validate the credentials against Salesforce before saving the credentials.

## Edit Existing Credentials

To edit any previously saved credentials, click the icon in-row for the credentials to update. All information must be re-input for updating the credential information.
