Salesforce API Update

This release updates CopyStorm/Medic to use Salesforce API version 59.

New Tool: Delete Salesforce Records

This release introduces a new CopyStorm/Medic tool “Delete Salesforce Records”. This tool allows you to scan for and delete records from Salesforce to:

  • Clear out Sandboxes.
  • Archive data out of Production.

The “Delete Salesforce Records” tool is available in the “Other Tools” application menu, under Other Tools -> Rarely Used -> Delete Salesforce Records. This tool is included as part of CS:Archive by CapStorm. For more information please contact us – either by contacting CapStorm support or your account representative.

Add Off-Database Partitions

The Partition Editor has been updated to allow fields to be moved to partitions outside of the main CopyStorm database. With this update, CopyStorm field data can be moved to a local Folder or to S3.

With this feature, you are able to move large fields out of the database to minimize database storage use. For example, the following fields typically require the majority of database storage and could be moved to a less costly storage location:

  • Attachment.Body
  • ContentVersion.VersionData

Bug Fixes and Misc Improvements

  • JDBC Partition Creation Bug Fix.
    • Fixed an issue preventing JDBC partitions from successfully initializing for tables with pre-existing data.
