Record Lineage Parameters

Record Lineage specific parameters. Record Lineage maps a logical record to one or more physical forms over time, tracking how the record evolves within the same system or across different systems.

Parameter	Description
Create Record Lineage	If checked, CopyStorm/Restore will create a lineage entry when a record is inserted. If unchecked, no lineage entry will be created on insert.
Enable Record Lineage Candidate Scanning	If checked, CopyStorm/Restore will consider record lineage when performing a candidate scan. If unchecked, CopyStorm/Restore will not consider record lineage during Candidate Scans. Refer to this article for details on how lineage affects Candidate Scanning.
Related Lists Scan Option	Configures how CopyStorm/Restore manages related list relationships when determining record lineage during the restoration process. Available values are: Do Not Scan Old Lineage – When performing a candidate scan, only the related lists of the HEAD lineage are scanned. Require Consistent Relationships – When performing a candidate scan, child records are scanned only if they maintain a consistent relationship with the parent’s HEAD.
